The Little Dog Laughed ![]() Rising film star Mitchell Green is every girl's fantasy and soon to become a household name, thanks to his devilishly determined agent Diane, who excels at navigating the choppy waters of Hollywood. With Mitchell on the brink of superstardom, Diane encounters one teensy-weensy obstacle - she can't seem to keep her leading man in the closet. With Mitchell's new 'friend' Alex on the scene and Alex's beautiful girlfriend Ellen (yes, he has a girlfriend) causing a drama of her own, what lengths will Mitchell go to play the part and will there be a Hollywood ending? Douglas Carter Beane's Tony Award-nominated comedy hilariously satirizes the superficial world of show business and the game playing of the movie industry. Tamsin Greig is best known for her award-winning performances in cult television series Green Wing and Black Books, and was recently seen in the BBC's adaptation of Emma. Her stage credits include God of Carnage and the RSC's Much Ado About Nothing, for which she won the Olivier Award for Best Actress. Rupert Friend's film credits include Pride and Prejudice, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, Young Victoria and Cheri. Gemma Arterton has starred in the St. Trinian's films, A Quantum of Solace and, soon to be released, Prince of Persia and Clash of the Titans. She was the title role in Tess of the D'Urbervilles for the BBC and Elizabeth Bennet in ITV's Lost in Austen. Harry Lloyd's theatre credits include the critically acclaimed A View from the Bridge and Ibsen's Ghosts. He has played Will Scarlett in the BBC's Robin Hood and appeared in Doctor Who. This UK premiere is directed by Donmar Associate Jamie Lloyd, whose recent productions include The Pride (winner of the Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement), Piaf at the Donmar and Vaudeville Theatre and Three Days of Rain with James McAvoy. Gemma Arterton is one of the finest and upcoming English movie actress. Her popularity soared internationally since she won the role of Strawberry Fields, in "Quantum of Solace" {2008}. | Find Available Dates: View Show Times and Seating Options: Tickets at Best PricesShow Information Booking From: 9th January 2010 Booking Until: 10th April 2010 Matinees: Wednesday and Saturday 3pm Evenings: Monday to Saturday 7.45pm Venue Information Garrick Theatre Charing Cross Road London WC2H 0HH Directions: Take the Northern or Piccadilly line to Leicester square station and exit onto Charing Cross Road.
